Thanksgiving Weekend
The WGSIL (World's Greatest Sister-in-law) emailed me today about how I disappoint her. Every day she visits this blog, and every day she's disappointed by it's dull and void-ed-ness. I know. Nothing. (She really needs to Click on the "Subscribe to" over there to the right---> RSS feed and then she'd be notified by e-mail about my latest posts!) But truly, nothing much has been happening in the personal life. Unless you want to hear about the continuous hacking cough left over from a cold, or how I'm trying to get used to wearing contacts but the prescriptions aren't right, or I can't (eeww, eeww, eeww!) touch them to my eyeball! And who wants to read about all that? Not me!
So on the homefront, Fud is the only one who's had some interesting happenings here at Twin Lakes. He made friends with Carly, a dog two doors down. Carly's not real sure what Fud is, exactly. She knows dogs hate cats, and vice versa, but Fud's such a friendly little guy. . .
At least we got to Anjee and Jim's for Thanksgiving! That was really fun, and after we stuffed ourselves (good-bye diet, hello fat pants), the girls and I giggled through DVD's of a Canadian sitcom called "Corner Gas."
Then, see the package on the table? That's the 2010 Family Fun Box! Your's will be arriving soon, Tammy! The theme this year is "Going Global." And you can check the pics here for clues but I really don't want to tell you what Jessica was putting in her mouth and how much she got paid to eat it!
It's after midnight now, so I hope Tammy's satisfied with this effort I'm making! She should get on Facebook and keep tabs on the rest of the family, too! Spread the guilt and nagging around!
But I appreciate her e-mailing me. It's nice to know someone actually reads this! I LOVE YOU TAMMY!
WRITING UPDATE: Would you believe I've made some progress lately? I really have! Going to the widows conference in Knoxville the first part of November was a good shot in the arm. Your prayers are, too! And sleep is also important. So I'm going to go do that now.

No wonder we can't see anything, we can hardly keep our eyes open. But I still love you and FF2010 is better than anything Oprah could cook up. :)
