Moving Out and Saying Good-bye . . .

. . . to my card table computer workspace in the guest room. Fancy, ain't it? So homey, too. All sorts of alligator tears here.

My writing area is moving down to a bump out in our living room. I went to Office Max yesterday and bought a desk and file cabinet. Now to move it all, plus clean out the closet and the chest of drawers because BRAD IS MOVING IN WITH US! Hello, Brad! Glad you're coming! He flies from Colorado to Dayton on Sept. 4.

He gets the guest room. Such a sacrifice on my part to give up the card table. (Not). I'll probably have to take down the dried flowers, baby pictures, "Girl Talk" poster (not pictured) and make it all manly.

FREE GIVE AWAY! Like I promised on Facebook (I just joined this week, by the way, and am going mad--tea party mad--I tell ya, getting my friend numbers up! It's fun!)

So here's the deal: I'm cleaning out the closet and find these wonderful books for children's ministry! And you know what? Those days are past for me. So if you want them, you can have them. You just have to take them all, and I'll ship them when I get around to it (which won't be too terribly long, but don't complain because I'll pay the shipping, too. Just promise you'll use them). It's first come, first served, so email me asap with your mailing address. Here are the titles:
The Children's Worker's Encyclopedia of Bible Teaching ideas--Old Testament
The Children's Worker's Encyclopedia of Bible Teaching Ideas--New Testament
The Discipline Guide for Children's Ministry
Show Me Devotions for Leaders to teach Kids
Eye-popping 3-D Bulletin Boards
Five-Minute Bible Fun Closing Activities
Forget-Me-Not Bible Story Activities
Snip & Tell Bible Stories

Hope to hear from you and that God will bless just the right person with this!

WRITING UPDATE: My computer might be out of service while we're getting my work station moved, so if I don't blog next week, that's why. Be sure to check back, tho. On the book I have ten more chapters to re-write. I really hope to have that all done by Thanksgiving, but it might not be until the end of the year. The past couple weeks I jumped ahead and worked on 14,15,16,and 21. Now I need to get back to chapter 10. It's a very important look at suffering, so pray for wise and gracious words to flow. The title is, "When Jesus Cried, Too."

Thanks for checking in on me.
